The Central Michigan Chippewas and the Toledo Rockets meet in college basketball MAC-tion from Savage Arena on Tuesday night.

The Central Michigan Chippewas will look to get back to .500 after improving to 6-7 with a 75-64 win over Eastern Michigan last time out. Travon Broadway Jr leads the Chippewas in scoring with 16.8 PPG along with 5.5 RPG while Meikkel Murray has 13.1 PPG with 5.8 RPG and Caleb Huffman has 11.5 PPG to make up the trio of double-digit scorers for CMU coming into Tuesday’s matchup against Toledo. Aundre Polk has 8.9 PPG with 5.1 RPG while Devontae Lane has 8.8 PPG with a team-high 3.1 APG. Malik Muhammad has a team-high 7.1 RPG this season. As a team, Central Michigan is averaging 80.3 PPG on 45.7% shooting from the field, 35.6% from 3-point range and 62.9% from the foul line while allowing opposing teams to average 76.6 PPG on 43.6% shooting from the field and 32.3% from 3-point range this season.

The Toledo Rockets will look to bounce back after a 95-94 overtime loss to Akron last time out. Marreon Jackson in scoring with a team-high 5.3 APG along with 4.1 RPG while Ryan Rollins is 2nd in scoring with 14.3 PPG along with 5.5 RPG. Spencer Littleson and Setric Millner Jr. each have 13.6 PPG with Millner Jr. logging a team-high 7 RPG this season. As a team, Toledo is averaging 79.5 PPG on 44.1% shooting from the field, 39.9% from 3-point range and 76.6% from the foul line while giving up 69.9 PPG on 43% shooting from the field and 29.5% from 3-point range this season.

Central Michigan is 2-6-2 ATS in their last 10 road games and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games against a team with a winning record while the over is 9-4 in their last 13 games overall. This is a ton of points to lay with Toledo, even at home, but Toledo’s been the team to beat in the MAC this season, even after a disappointing loss to Akron. Central Michigan has been average in the MAC at best, and I just think this is a game that Toledo pulls away in the second half so I’ll lay the points with Toledo in this spot.
