The Delaware Blue Hens and the UNC-Wilmington Seahawks meet in college basketball action from Trask Coliseum on Saturday afternoon.

The Delaware Blue Hens will look to build on a 74-56 win over Hofstra last time out. Ryan Allen leads the Blue Hens in scoring with 14.4 PPG along with 2.9 APG while Dylan Painter has 12.5 PPG with a team-high 10.9 RPG, averaging a double-double per game and Kevin Anderson has 12 PPG with a team-high 3 APG to make up the trio of double-digit scorers for Delaware coming into this weekend’s matchup with UNCW. As a team, Delaware is averaging 66 PPG on 43% shooting from the field, 32.3% from 3-point range and 71.7% from the foul line while giving up 67.7 PPG on 42.3% shooting from the field and 36.5% from 3-point range this season.

The UNC-Wilmington Seahawks will look to rebound from back-to-back losses to Towson, including a 78-74 loss last time out. Jaylen Sims leads the Seahawks in scoring with 17.9 PPG along with 5.4 RPG while Ty Gadsden is 2nd in scoring with 14.9 PPG and Mike Okauru had 13 PPG with 5.5 RPG and a team-high 3.5 APG this season. Joe Pridgen has 11.5 PPG with a team-high 8.8 RPG and Jake Boggs has 10.5 PPG to make up the group of double-digit scorers for UNCW up to this point in the year. As a team, UNC-Wilmington is averaging 78.6 PPG on 43.9% shooting from the field, 35.8% from 3-point range and 76.4% from the foul line while allowing 72 PPG on 45.3% shooting from the field and 32% from 3-point range this season.

Delaware is 0-4 ATS in their last 4 road games and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games against a team with a winning record while the under is 4-0 in their last 4 games overall. UNC-Wilmington is 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall wand 4-17 ATS in their last 21 games against a team with a losing record while the under is 7-1 in their last 8 Saturday games. The favorite is 3-1-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings between these two teams.

It’s crazy to think that this is the 2nd biggest line for Delaware this season, so the 0-3 ATS mark on the road isn’t terrible. However, the fact remains that the Blue Hens are still 0-3 ATS on the road and have not been able to get the job done in the covering department. UNC-Wilmington doesn’t have a ton of home games under their belt this season but the Seahawks have made their home games count and I think they make this one count as well so I’ll lay the points with Delaware in this one.
