The Loyola Ramblers and the Bradley Braves meet Sunday in college basketball action from Carver Arena.

Loyola comes into this game at 11-3 so far. The Ramblers are riding a four-game win streak and coming off a victory over Valparaiso. As for Bradley, they’re sitting at 9-5 this year. The Braves had a three-game win streak snapped by Illinois State in their last game. Check back all season long for free college basketball picks at Sports Chat Place.

Loyola began their season at 3-2 with losses to Wisconsin and Richmond. The Ramblers then hit a four-game win streak before another loss to Indiana State. Since then it’s been a win over the Sycamores, two wins over Northern Iowa and a victory over Valparaiso for the Ramblers.

In Wednesday’s 75-39 win over Valparaiso, Loyola’s Cameron Krutwig put up 15 points with five rebounds and three assists, while Lucas Williamson managed 11 points, five rebounds and three assists. Tate Hall chipped in with 10 points and four boards as well.

Over on the Bradley side, they began the year at 3-2 as well with losses to Xavier and SD State. The Braves then won three in a item before falling by one to Missouri and six to Northern Iowa. Bradley beat Northern Iowa and Evansville twice before falling to Illinois State in their last game.

In the Wednesday loss 71-56 to the Redbirds, Bradley’s Elijah Childs doubled up on 14 points with 11 rebounds. Both Terry Nolan and Darius Hannah notched nine points apiece, combining for four assists and nine rebounds for the Braves as well.

The Braves are 5-2 ATS in their last seven Sunday games and 4-0 ATS in their last four after an ATS loss. Bradley is 4-1 ATS in their last five versus a team with a winning straight-up record and the over is 8-2 in their last 10 overall.

Meanwhile, Loyola is 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall and 6-1 ATS in their last seven after a straight-up win. The over is 4-1 in the Ramblers’ last five Sunday games and 4-1 in their last five after a straight-up win.

PICK: I’m sticking with Loyola here. Bradley had a nice run going until that Illinois State game, but the Braves floundered there with a 41-25 deficit in the second half and a 15-point loss. The Ramblers have hit 72 points or more in each of their last three (against sub-par competition, granted) and I like this one to be a relatively high-scoring affair. Should be a fun matchup.
