The Tulane Green Wave and the Temple Owls meet Sunday in college basketball action from Liacouras Center.

Tulane enters this one at 6-5 so far. The Wave have lost three straight, most recently to Houston. As for Temple, they’re 4-4 this season. The Owls are 3-1 in their last four and coming off a win over Tulsa. Check back all season long for free college basketball picks at Sports chat Place.

Tulane began their year on a four-game win streak over Lamar, Lipscomb, Southern Miss and Arkansas-Pine Bluff. The Green Wave went 2-2 in the next four games with wins over Grambling and East Carolina, then lost three straight to Houston and Temple.

In the 83-60 loss to Houston on Thursday, Tulane’s Jordan Walker put up 16 points with four assists and three rebounds. Gabe Watson added 13 points, and Tylan Pope chipped in 12 points with five boards in 19 minutes of action.

Over on the Temple side, they kicked off the season with a win over NJIT, then lost three to Houston and SMU. After wins over UCF and Tulane, the Owls fell to Houston last Saturday before beating Tulsa on Tuesday.

In the 76-67 win over Tulsa, Temple’s Khalif Battle put up 22 points with 11 rebounds and three assists. De’vondre Perry added 17 points with three boards, and both Jake Forrester and Damian Dunn added 10 points apiece with a combined eight rebounds.

The Owls are 1-5 ATS in their last six Sunday games and 3-1-1 ATS in their last five home games. Temple is 4-1-1 ATS in their last six games overall and the under is 8-3 in their last 11 overall.

Meanwhile, the Wave are 5-2 ATS in their last seven Sunday games and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall. The under is 4-1 in Tulane’s last five overall and 4-1 in their last five Sunday games.

PICK: I like Tulane in this one. The last time these teams met was on January 16 in a 65-57 Temple victory. Tulane shot just 31.7 percent from the floor and was out-rebounded 48-32 with an assists deficit of 17-12. The Wave were behind by just two at the break but lost it in the second half. Tulane is a better team than that however, and I like a good effort on a cover here.
