St. Francis-Pennsylvania vs St. Francis-Brooklyn College Basketball Picks, Odds, Predictions 2/11/21

The St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers and the Saint Francis PA Red Flash meet Thursday in college basketball action from DeGol Arena. 

St. Francis BK enters this one at 4-7 so far. The Terriers have lost four straight games to Wagner and LIU. As for Saint Francis PA they’re 5-12 this season. St. Francis BK began the season on a 4-3 clip with losses to Bryant, Central CT State and Saint Peter’s alongside wins over Bryant, Central CT State and Mount St. Mary’s. Since then it’s been four straight losses to Long Island University and Wagner. 

In the 96-84 loss to LIU on Monday, St. Francis BK’s Travis Atson posted 24 points with five rebounds and three assists while David Muenkat doubled up on 21 points with 11 rebounds and two assists. Vuk Stevanic chipped in 12 points with two boards and two assists as well. 

Over on the Saint Francis PA side, They skidded out of the gate at 1-6 before getting wins over Bryant and Sacred Heart in a three-game stretch. The Red Flash went 2-2 in their next four games, then lost three straight to Central CT State and Merrimack. 

In the 59-54 loss to Merrimack on Friday, Saint Francis PA’s Ramiir Dixon-Conover put up 14 points with six boards and three assists. Also in double-figures there was Ronell Giles with 11 points, three assists and one rebound for the Red Flash. 

The Flash are 1-5 ATS in their last six versus a team with a winning percentage below .400 and 14-6-1 ATS in their last 21 Thursday games. Saint Francis PA is 1-4 ATS in their last five after an ATS loss and 3-8 ATS in their last 11 after a straight-up loss. 

Meanwhile, the Terriers are 2-6-1 ATS in their last nine road games and 0-4 ATS in their last four overall. St. Francis BK is 1-5 ATS in their last six Thursday games and 2-5-1 ATS in their last eight after an ATS loss. 

PICK: I’m going with the Terriers here. Granted, there’s not much to get excited about in this matchup but it should be a pretty good game. St. Francis BK has hit the skids over the last four games, but they’ve been scoring reasonably well with 81 or more points in three of those outings. The Flash have been at 62 or below in three of their last four, so if the Terriers can get off to a good start in this one I can see them banging out a cover.
