The Alabama A&M Bulldogs and the Alcorn State Braves meet in college basketball action from the Davey L. Whitney Complex on Monday night.
The Alabama A&M Bulldogs will look to rebound from a 72-58 loss to Alabama State last time out. Jalen Johnson leads the Bulldogs in scoring and rebounding with 17 PPG and 6.9 RPG while Garrett Hicks has 14.4 PPG as the only other double-digit scorer for the Bulldogs up to this point in the season. I try to not delve into the unknown of the SwAC too often if I haven’t touched on it much, but Alabama State, even on the road, has been having the bulk of the success in the conference this season. With that said, these are still two of the lower scoring offenses in the SWAC and I can see a game where the first to 65 actually wins it and take a big step in the conference this season.
