The Clemson Tigers and the Wake Forest Demon Deacons meet Wednesday in college basketball action from LJVM Coliseum.

Clemson enters this one at 13-5 so far. The Tigers are on a three-game win streak and took out Georgia Tech in their last game. As for Wake Forest, they’re 6-11 this year. The Deacons have lost their last three games, most recently to NC State. Check back all season long for free college basketball picks at Sports Chat Place.

Clemson started the year out at 9-1 before hitting a three-game losing streak versus Virginia, Georgia Tech and Florida State. Since then it’s been a 4-1 run for the Tigers, however. They’ve taken out Louisville, North Carolina, Syracuse and Georgia Tech in that time.

In the 74-72 win over Georgia Tech on February 12, Clemson’s Aamir Simms put up 25 points with three assists and three rebounds. Nick Honor added 12 points with three assets and one rebound in 35 minutes on the floor as well.

Over on the Deacons’ side, it’s been a rough ride since their 3-0 start as the team hasn’t been able to win consecutive games since then. Since their last win over Boston College, Wake has fallen to Florida State, Duke and North Carolina State.

In the 80-62 loss to NC State, Wake Forest’s Ian DuBose put up 14 points with three rebounds. Both Divine Williamson and Isaiah Mucius notched 11 points apiece, combining fo six rebounds and two assists for the Deacons also.

The Deacons are 5-2 ATS in their last seven Wednesday games and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 overall. Wake Forest is 5-2 ATS in their last seven as an underdog and the over is 25-11-2 in their last 38 games overall.

Meanwhile, Clemson is 0-5 ATS in their last five road games and 5-1 ATS in their last six Wednesday games. The Tigers are 2-5 ATS in their last seven as a road favorite and the over is 8-3 in their last 11 overall.

PICK: I’m going to stick with Clemson here. The Tigers had a bit of a scoring slump going there for a while with 65 or fewer points in six straight games, but they’ve notched 152 combined points in their last pair. Wake has notched just 122 combined points in their last two games, so they should be a good opponent for Clemson to return to the court with.
