The Drake Bulldogs and the Bradley Braves meet Friday in college basketball action from Carver Arena.

Drake enters this one at 23-2 so far. The Bulldogs have won four straight, most recently over Evansville. As for the Braves, they’re 11-14 this season. Bradley has lost three straight, most recently to Illinois State. Check back all season long for free college basketball picks at Sports Chat Place.

Drake opened up the year on an incredible 18-0 run before losing two of their next three versus Valparaiso and Loyola Chicago. Since then, the Bulldogs have won four straight over Loyola, Northern Iowa and Evansville (twice).

In the Monday win 74-63 over Evansville, Drake’s Joseph Yesufu put up 36 points with five rebounds and one assist. Garrett Sturtz doubled up with 12 points and 10 rebounds, while DJ Wilkins managed 11 points with five rebounds and two assists.

Over on the Bradley side, they were sitting at 9-4 back on January 17, but have since won just two of their last 12 games. The losses in that stretch came to Illinois State, Loyola, Valparasio, Indiana State, Southern Illinois, Missouri State and Illinois State again.

In the 88-71 loss to the Redbirds last week, Bradley’s Ja’Shon Henry put up 15 points with five rebounds and two assists. Both Rienk Mast and Kevin McAdoo added 12 points with four assists and five rebounds between them.

The Braves are 0-3-2 ATS in their last five home games and 2-5 ATS in their last seven Friday games. Bradley is 1-9-2 ATS in their last 12 overall and the over is 8-2 in their last 10 home games.

Meanwhile, the Bulldogs are 7-2 ATS in their last nine road games and 6-1 ATS in their last seven Friday games. Drake is 57-27-2 ATS in their last 86 overall and the over is 4-1 in their last five overall.

PICK: I’m going to stick with Drake. The Braves posted a pretty healthy 71 points in the loss to Illinois State last week, but prior to that they’d managed only 115 combined points in the two Missouri State games. Drake has scored well all year, and if they don’t hit 70 or 80 points this season it’s a “bad” offensive outing for them. I think the Bulldogs can roll here.
