The South Carolina Gamecocks and the Georgia Bulldogs meet in college basketball action from the Stegeman Coliseum on Saturday afternoon.

The South Carolina Gamecocks will look to rebound from a 69-48 loss to Mississippi State last time out. A.J. Lawson leads the Gamecocks in scoring with 17.8 PPG while Keyshawn Bryant has 14.2 PPG with 5.1 RPG to make up the duo of double-digit scorers for South Carolina up to this point in the season. Jermaine Couisnard has 9.3 PPG with a team-high 3.4 APG while Juan Minaya has 7.6 PPG with a team-high 6.8 RPG to lead the Gamecocks on the glass this season. As a team, South Carolina is averaging 72.7 PPG on 41.5% shooting from the field, 31.1% from 3-point range and 66.7% from the foul line while allowing 77.8 PPG on 46% shooting from the field, 35.5% from 3-point range and 76% from the foul line this season.

The Georgia Bulldogs will look to add to a 91-78 win over LSU last time out. Sahvir Wheeler has 14.1 PPG and a team-high 7.2 APG to lead the Bulldogs in assists while K.D. johnson has 13.8 PPG and Toumani Camara has 12.9 PPG with a team-high 7.6 RPG to make up the group of double-digit scorers for Georgia up to this point in the season. Tye Fagan, Justin Kier and Andrew Garcia each have 9+ PPG for the Bulldogs up to this point in the season as well. As a team, Georgia is averaging 78 PPG on 46.2% shooting from the field, 31.3% from 3-point range and 69.5% from the foul line while allowing 77.1 PPG on 45.3% shooting from the field and 33% from 3-point range this season.

South Carolina is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 games against a team with a winning record. Georgia is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall and 5-11 ATS in their last 16 Saturday games while the under is 5-1-1 in their last 7 games against a team with a losing record.

It’d be a lot easier to make a case for South Carolina had they not been struggling as bad as they have been during this six-game losing streak. Georgia isn’t a world-beater by any stretch, but the Bulldogs by far play their best ball at home and this line isn’t too absurd to think that we could get a cover from the Dawgs here so I’ll lay the points with Georgia at home in this one.
