The Dayton Flyers and the St. Bonaventure Bonnies meet Monday in college basketball action from Reilly Center.

Dayton enters this one at 12-8 this year. The Flyers are 1-3 in their last four games and coming off a loss to Saint Joseph’s. As for the Bonnies, they’re 13-3 this season. St. Bonaventure has won their last three straight, most recently over George Washington. Check back all season long for free college basketball picks at Sports Chat Place.

Dayton kicked off their year at 8-3, but they haven’t won more than two consecutive games since then. The Flyers are 2-4 in their last six, falling to Duquesne, VCU, Rhode Island and Saint Joseph’s during that stretch.

In the 97-84 loss to Saint Joseph’s on Wednesday, Dayton’s Jalen Crutcher led the way n 17 points with six rebounds and four assists. Ibi Watson added 16 points with five rebounds and four assists, and RJ Blakney had 15 points with six assists.

Over on the St. Bonaventure side, they’ve stayed consistent all year and are yet to lose consecutive games. Since a 1-2 stretch earlier this month, the Bonnies have won three straight versus Davidson (twice) and George Washington.

In the 88-41 blowout win over the Colonials on Friday, St. Bonaventure’s Jaren English led the team with 18 points, five rebounds and three assists. Alejandro Vasquez managed 18 points with two assists and one rebound, and Kyle Lofton doubled up with 12 points and 10 assists.

The Bonnies are 19-6-2 ATS in their last 27 home games and 7-2 ATS in their last nine after an ATS win. St. Bonaventure is 35-15-2 ATS in their last 52 as a favorite and 1-4 ATS in their last five Monday games.

Meanwhile, the Flyers are 6-1 ATS in the last seven Monday games and 6-0 ATS in their last six after an ATS loss. The over is 4-0 in Dayton’s last four road gams and 5-1 in their last six overall.

PICK: I’m sticking with St. Bonaventure here. The Bonnies had a few scoring duds going prior to the George Washington game, notching fewer than 70 points in three straight outings. St. Bonaventure exploded for 88 points on Friday however, with is a nice indication of a return to offensive form. This should be an interesting game but I like the Bonnies better on a cover.
