Quinnipiac vs Saint Peter’s College Basketball Picks, Odds, Predictions 3/4/21

The Saint Peter’s Peacocks and the Quinnipiac Bobcats meet Thursday in college basketball action from TD Bank Sports Center. 

Saint Peter’s enters this game at 12-9 so far. The Peacocks are 1-2 in their last three and coming off a loss to Rider. As for Quinnipiac, they’re 8-11 this year. The Bobcats have lost their last pair to Marist. Check back all season long for free college basketball picks at Sports Chat Place. 

Saint Peter’s has had issues maintaining win streaks this year, as they’re yet to win more than two consecutive games. The good news is that the Peacocks are 3-2 in their last five games, falling to Marist and Rider in that time. 

In the 78-65 loss to Rider on Saturday, Saint Peter’s KC Ndefo put up 21 points with five rebounds, and Hassan Drame added 13 points with six rebounds. Tarojae Brake chipped in with five points and four boards as well. 

Over on the Quinnipiac side, they stumbled out of the gate at 5-9 this year. The Bobcats managed a three-game win streak in February and nearly crawled back to .500 on the year, but have since lost two games to Marist. 

In the 65-52 loss to Marist on Monday, Quinnipiac’s Savion Lewis and Luis Kortright managed 12 points apiece, combining for five assists and nine rebounds as well. Jacob Rigoni added nine points with eight assists there. 

The Bobcats are 5-12 ATS in their last 17 after a straight-up loss and 5-12 ATS in their last 17 after an ATS loss. The under is 6-1 in Quinnipiac’s last seven Thursday games and the over is 7-2-1 in their last 10 overall. 

Meanwhile, the Peacocks are 1-6-1 ATS in their last eight road games and 4-11-1 ATS in their last 16 overall. Saint Peter’s is 14-3 ATS in their last 17 as a road underdog and the under is 5-0 in their last five road games. 

PICK: I’m going to take Quinnipiac here. The Bobcats were rolling along well before those two Marist losses, notching 70 or more points in seven of their previous eight games. Saint Peter’s hasn’t hit 70 since back in December; they’ve been relying more on defense to get wins. If Quinnipiac can get off to a fast start in this one I think they’ve got a good shot on a cover.
