The Colorado Buffaloes and the USC Trojans meet Friday in college basketball action from T-Mobile Arena.

Coming into this Pac-12 Tournament matchup, Colorado sits at 20-7 on the year. The Buffaloes took out California in tourney activity Thursday. As for USC, they’re sitting at 22-6 on the year. The Trojans beat Utah in the tournament on Thursday. Check back all season long for free college basketball picks at Sports Chat Place.

Colorado has stayed pretty consistent this season, and they’ve only recorded consecutive losses once so far. The Buffaloes have won five straight games, taking out Oregon State, USC, UCLA, Arizona State and California in that stretch.

In the Thursday tournament win over California, Colorado notched a 24-20 advantage in the first half and was able to hang on for the 61-58 outcome. Leading the team in scoring was Evan Battey with 15 points, five rebounds and one assist.

Over on the USC side, they began the year on a nice 18-3 run with no consecutive losses in that stretch. The Trojans hit a sketch 1-3 patch in February, but have since bounced back with three straight wins. USC eked out a tense six-point win over Utah on Thursday.

In the double-overtime win over Utah on Thursday, USC gave up a five-point lead in the second half but was able to take it with a wild 20-14 edge in the OT periods for a 91-85 result. Leading the way was Evan Mobley with 26 points, nine rebounds and two assists.

USC is 1-4 ATS in their last five overall and 13-5 ATS in their last 18 after an ATS loss. The under is 4-1 in the Trojans’ last five neutral-site games and 4-1 in their last five as a favorite.

Meanwhile, the Buffaloes are 5-2 ATS in their last seven after a straight-up win and the under is 8-1 in their last nine overall. The over is 5-2 in Colorado’s last seven neutral-site games and the under is 20-6 in their last 26 Friday games.

PICK: I’m going to stick with USC in this one. The Trojans had a solid lead in the first half of Thursday’s game, but coughed up 42 points in the second to get themselves in trouble. That said, USC had some nice efforts across the roster in the gutsy tournament win, and I like the momentum to carry over into this round. Should be a great game; don’t miss it.
