The Wisconsin Badgers and the Baylor Bears meet Sunday in college basketball action from Lucas Oil Stadium.

Coming into this NCAA Tournament Second Round matchup, Wisconsin sits at 18-12 overall. The Badgers took out North Carolina in their tournament game Friday. As for Baylor, they’re sitting at 23-2 overall. The Bears took care of Hartford on Friday in their first tourney game. Wisconsin has had an up-and-down season in a difficult conference so far. The Badgers were sitting at 16-8 back on February 21 but then hit a 1-4 stretch with losses to Illinois, Purdue and Iowa before their First Round win over North Carolina on Friday.

In Friday’s First Round tournament game versus North Carolina, Wisconsin held a firm 40-24 edge going into the break and kept it going from there on an 85-62 result. The Badgers’ Brad Davison led the way on 29 points with six rebounds.

Over on the Baylor side, they’ve had a pretty solid year overall, and opened up their campaign with 18 straight wins. The Bears hit a 4-2 stretch after that with losses to Kansas and Oklahoma State, but made quick work of Hartford in the First Round on Friday.

In Friday’s 79-55 win over Hartford, Baylor had a 37-21 lead at the break and didn’t let up from there, cruising to a 79-55 blowout. Leading the way for the Bears was MaCio Teague with 22 points and four rebounds. Jared Butler added 13 points with nine assists and four boards as well.

The Badgers are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 Sunday games and 3-1-1 ATS in their last five NCAA Tournament games. Wisconsin is 2-7-1 ATS in their last 10 neutral-site games and 0-6 ATS in their last six after an ATS win.

Meanwhile, Baylor is 7-3 ATS in their last 10 neutral-site games and 1-4 ATS in their last five overall. The Bears are 1-4 ATS in their last five as a favorite and 1-5 ATS in their last six after a straight-up win.

PICK: I’m likely going to stick with Baylor here. The Bears have been muscling their way past some tough opponents lately, taking out such big dogs as West Virginia, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech over their last half-dozen games. Things can sometimes get a little dicey for Baylor when they’re facing a high-scoring team, but generally they do a good job at setting the pace on the scoreboard. If the Bears can control the tempo in this one, I think they’ve got a better shot at a potential cover. Wisconsin will be a tough opponent so this may be one to stay away from, however.
