The USC Trojans meet the Oregon Ducks Sunday in the college basketball NCAA Tournament all Pac-12 Sweet 16 matchup at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

The Oregon Ducks look for another win after beating Iowa in the second round of the tournament. The Oregon Ducks are averaging 74.1 points on 46.9 percent shooting and allowing 66.9 points on 43.3 percent shooting. Eugene Omoruyi is averaging 16.7 points and 5.2 rebounds while Chris Duarte is averaging 16.7 points and 4.7 rebounds. LJ Figueroa is the third double-digit scorer and Will Richardson is grabbing 3.4 rebounds. The Oregon Ducks are shooting 38 percent from beyond the arc and 71.2 percent from the free throw line. The Oregon Ducks are allowing 32.8 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 31 rebounds per game.

The USC Trojans look for another win after beating Drake and Kansas in their first two rounds. The USC Trojans are averaging 74.3 points on 46.5 percent shooting and allowing 64.1 points on 39.1 percent shooting. Evan Mobley is averaging 16.8 points and 8.7 rebounds while Tahj Eaddy is averaging 13.5 points and 2.8 assists. Drew Peterson is the third double-digit scorer and Isaiah Mobley is dishing 1.5 assists. The USC Trojans are shooting 34.3 percent from beyond the arc and 64.4 percent from the free throw line. The USC Trojans are allowing 33.6 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 36.5 rebounds per game.

The Ducks are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games as an underdog and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Trojans are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 NCAA Tournament games and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 Sunday games. The over is 36-17-1 in Ducks last 54 overall. The under is 5-1-1 in Trojans last 7 games as a favorite. The favorite is 9-2 ATS in the last 11 meetings.

The Oregon Ducks looked great in their tournament opener against Iowa, as they were in control from the start and have the offensive depth to be a scary team for any opponent. However, the USC Trojans have been the more impressive team up to this point and is fresh off a contest where they absolutely destroyed Kansas. Speaking of beatdowns, USC beat Oregon in the only meeting this season, holding the Ducks to 40.4 percent shooting and winning by 14 points. In Oregon’s losses this season it’s struggled to find an offensive rhythm, and USC finished 11th this season in defensive field goal percentage. I lean toward the Trojans in this toss up contest.
