The Missouri St Lady Bears look for another win after beating UC Davis and Wright State in their first two rounds. The Missouri St Lady Bears are averaging 70.6 points on 41.9 percent shooting and allowing 55.9 points on 37.2 percent shooting. Brice Calip is averaging 13.5 points and 4.9 rebounds while Jasmine Franklin is averaging 12 points and 9.6 rebounds. Elle Ruffridge is grabbing 2.2 rebounds and Abby Hipp is grabbing 5.2 rebounds. The Missouri St Lady Bears are shooting 31.7 percent from beyond the arc and 72.6 percent from the free throw line. The Missouri St Lady Bears are allowing 29.5 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 42 rebounds per game.

The Stanford Cardinal look for another win after beating Utah Valley and Oklahoma State in their first two rounds. The Stanford Cardinal are averaging 78.6 points on 46.9 percent shooting and allowing 52.8 points on 32.7 percent shooting. Kiana Williams is averaging 14.4 points and two rebounds while Haley Jones is averaging 12.9 points and 7.4 rebounds. The Stanford Cardinal are allowing 26.3 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 43 rebounds per game.

The Stanford Cardinal should be big favorites in this contest and you can argue they’re the best team in this tournament, as the scoring depth is ridiculous. However, we’re getting a boatload of free points with a Missouri St Lady Bears team that hasn’t lost since December 19 and has turned up its defensive pressure in the first two games of this tournament. And while Stanford is an obvious step up in class from anybody Missouri State has played this year, we did see the Lady Bears beat Maryland earlier in the year, a team that’s still in this tournament and a dark horse title contender.
