The UC San Diego Tritons and California Golden Bears meet Tuesday in college basketball action at the Haas Pavilion. The UC San Diego Tritons look for a winning season after finishing 7-10 last year. The California Golden Bears won 9 games last year and enter the third year under coach Mark Fox.
The UC San Diego Tritons lost two of their three double-digit scorers from last season, but they do have back possibly their best player. The UC San Diego Tritons are a very experienced team with four seniors, so there has to be some sort of expectations in place this year. Andre Kelly returns after averaging 10.3 points and 6.4 rebounds, while Grant Anticevich averaged 8.9 points and 1.8 assists. Makale Foreman dished 1.6 assists per game last season, and Jarred Hyder averaged 1.2 rebounds.
