The Bryant Bulldogs and the Clemson Tigers meet in college basketball action from Littlejohn Coliseum on Monday night.

The Bryant Bulldogs come into this game looking to bounce back from an 84-63 loss to Rhode Island in their last game. Charles Pride leads the Bulldogs with 25 PPG while Greg Calixte has 15 PPG and 6 RPG. Tyler Breisford has 12.5 PPG with 4 RPG and 8 APG and Adham Elseda has 11 PPG while Chris Childs has 10 PPG to make up the group of Bulldogs averaging double figures in scoring this season. Luis Hurtado also has a team-high 9 RPG for the Bulldogs as well on the year. As a team, Bryant is averaging 93 PPG on 43.5% shooting from the field, 32.4% from three and 80.6% from the foul line while allowing 68.5 PPG on 34.8% from the field and 22% from three this season.

The Clemson Tigers will look to build on their 2-0 start to the year after a 76-68 win over Wofford in their last time out. Al-Amir Dawes leads the Tigers in scoring with 17 PPG while PJ Hall has 14 PPG and a team-high 8 RPG as well this season. Hunter Tyson has 13 PPG and David Collins has 10.5 PPG to make up the group of Tigers scoring in double figures this season while Nick Honor has 6.5 PPG as well as 4 APG this season. As a team, Clemson is averaging 70 PPG o 46.8% shooting from the field, 42.5% from three and 64.8% from the foul line while allowing 60.5 PPG on 35.9% from the field and 17% from three this season.

Trends will be updated once they’ve been released.

Betting in college basketball sometimes comes down to finding those under the radar teams that a lot of public or novice bettors don’t really follow, and for me, Bryant was one of those teams last season. However, the Bulldogs stumbled early against Rhode Island and a follow up game against Clemson isn’t an ideal spot in my eyes. Sure, Clemson may not be the most intimidating team out there, but they handled themselves well against a game Wofford team and I think they just overwork Bryant here. I’ll side with Clemson in this one.
