The St. Bonaventure Bonnies and the Clemson Tigers meet Friday in college basketball action from TD Arena. St. Bonaventure is 3-0 on the year so far and coming off a win over Boise State. As for Clemson, they’re 4-0 thus far and beat Temple in their last game. Check back all season long for free college basketball picks at Sports Chat Place.

St. Bonaventure has gotten off to a good start so far this year. The Bonnies took out Siena 75-47 in their opener, holding the Saints to just 15 second-half points. In game two it was another victory, this time 69-60 over Canisius.

In Thursday’s game, the Bonnies kept it going against Boise State. St. Bonaventure was down 33-30 at the break but surged from there in a 67-61 victory. Kyle Lofton led the team with 17 points and seven assists. Jaren English doubled up on 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Over on the Clemson side, they’ve started out very well this year themselves. The Tigers took out Presbyterian 64-53 in their opener, then got past Wofford 76-68 in game two. After that came a nice 93-70 victory over Bryant on November 15.

Clemson matched up against Temple on Thursday. The Tigers jumped out to a 38-26 lead, then kept it going in the second half during a 75-48 blowout win. The Tigers’ Nick Honor led the team on 19 points and three assists.

The Tigers are 7-2 ATS in their last nine neutral-site games and the under is 4-0 in their last four as an underdog. Clemson is 1-6 ATS in their last seven as an underdog.

Meanwhile, the Bonnies are 4-0 ATS in their last four Friday games and 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21 overall. St. Bonaventure is 8-1 ATS in their last nine neutral-site games.

PICK: I’m going to try Clemson here. The Tigers didn’t have much trouble at all with Temple on Thursday, shooting 54.5 percent from the floor, collecting 30 rebounds and posting 16 team assists. Clemson shot very well from outside, with 11-of-21 (52.4 percent) from 3-point range.

As for St. Bonaventure, they got off to a bit of a slow start against Boise State but recovered well in the second half. This should be a pretty fun matchup and a great game to watch.
