The Boise State Broncos and the Ole Miss Rebels meet Sunday in college basketball action from TD Arena. Boise State is sitting at .500 on the year so far and coming off a blowout win over Temple. As for Ole Miss, they’re 3-1 so far and fresh off a big win over Elon. Check back all season long for free college basketball picks at Sports Chat Place.

Boise State opened up the year against Utah Valley, posting a dominant 76-56 win to start the year on a high note. The Broncos would lose their next two games however, falling 58-50 to UC Irvine and 67-61 to St. Bonaventure.

The Broncos got back in the win column and back to .500 with a solid 82-62 win over Temple on Friday. Boise State was up 43-28 at halftime and cruised from there. Emmanuel Akot led the team on 16 points with six assists and three rebounds.

Over on the Ole Miss side, they got a couple of big victories in their first pair this year, beating New Orleans 82-61 in the opener and Charleston Southern 93-68 in game two. The Rebels took their first loss against Marquette, falling 78-72.

In the Friday game against Elon, the Rebels posted 37 points in each half during a 74-56 win. The team’s leading scorers were Jaemyn Brakefield and Jarkel Joiner, each with 16 points and a combined seven rebounds.

The Rebels are 4-1 ATS in the last five Sunday games and 2-6 ATS in the last eight neutral-site games. The over is 5-1 in Ole Miss’ last six overall.
Meanwhile, the Broncos are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 neutral-site games and 2-6 ATS in their last eight after an ATS win. The under is 17-4 in their lsat 21 Sunday games.

PICK: I like Ole Miss in this one, but you could make a good case either way. This should be a fun matchup. That said, the Rebels shot a nice 49.1 percent in the Elon game, collecting 42 rebounds and 14 team assists. Ole Miss has hit 72 or more points in every game so far.

As for Boise, they had five players with nine or more points in their last game and got a nice team-wide effort. I like this one to be competitive down to the wire, and I think Ole Miss can eke out a cover/win.
