Austin Peay trailed Howard by a 59-51 margin with just 7:15 left in regulation, however, the Governors offense was outstanding down the stretch and Austin Peay was able to pull off the victory after Elijah Hutchins-Everett made a game-winning layup with just :02 seconds left in regulation. Austin Peay shot 47.4% from the field & 41.7% from beyond the arc while allowing Howard to shoot 46.0% from the field & 31.6% from beyond the arc. Austin Peay was outrebounded by Howard by a 40-26 margin, however, did force 24 turnovers in the victory. Leading the way for the Governors was Elijah Hutchins-Everett who had a double-double with 14 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assist, & 3 blocks.

On the season, Austin Peay is averaging 71.4 ppg on 44.6% shooting from the field. The Governors are averaging 9.2 three-pointers per game on 38.7% shooting from beyond the arc. Defensively, Austin Peay is allowing their opponents to average 73.0 ppg on 49.3% shooting from the field. The Governors have a rebound margin of -4.4 and a turnover margin of 0.8.

The TCU Horned Frogs improved to 4-1 on the season after defeating the Pepperdine Waves, 73-64, this past Wednesday night. TCU led by a 32-27 margin at halftime and was able to pull away later after taking a 71-63 lead with just 2:13 left in regulation. TCU shot 50.0% from the field & 16.7% from beyond the arc while allowing Pepperdine to shoot 43.6% from the field & 33.3% from beyond the arc. TCU lost the turnover battle by a 18-12 margin, however, did outrebounded Pepperdine by a 38-22 margin in the victory. Leading the way for the Horned Frogs was Emanuel Miller who had a double-double with 15 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, & 1 block.

Offensively, TCU has been led by Mike Miles (16.8 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 4.6 apg, 1.4 spg), Emanuel Miller (11.4 ppg, 8.6 rpg, 1.4 spg), Micah Peavy (8.0 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 1.2 apg), & Chuck O’Bannon Jr. (7.4 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 1.6 apg).

The Governors are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games following a ATS win. The Horned Frogs are 7-20 ATS in their last 27 home games & 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games overall.

Austin Peay had a slow start to their season, however, this is a solid team that really can score the basketball and come into this game ranked 61st in three-pointers made per game & 43rd in 3P-FG%. TCU comes in with a solid 4-1 record, however, Pepperdine was by far their toughest competition to date, and this is still a team that lost by 19 points to Santa Clara. Austin Peay has already picked up a quality road win this season at Dayton and as I just don’t think TCU is that good, I think this is just way to many points to pass up on. Take Austin Peay and the points. Good Luck!
