The Maryland Terrapins had their 2-game winning streak snapped and dropped to 5-2 on the season after being defeated by the Louisville Cardinals, 63-55, this past Saturday. Maryland struggled on the offensive end against Louisville and could not fight back after the Cardinals took a 58-53 lead with 1:57 left in regulation. The Hokies are 4-11 ATS in their last 15 road games & 1-10 ATS in their last 11 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. The Terrapins are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall & 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games.

Maryland has picked up some decent wins this season against Vermont & Richmond, however, I haven’t been overly impressed from what I’ve seen from the Terrapins this season, especially on the offensive end as Maryland comes into this game ranked just 199th in scoring offense & 240th in FG%. Virginia Tech hasn’t picked up a big win yet this season after dropping close games to Memphis & Xavier, however, this is a talented team that has been great defensively as they come into this game ranked 2nd in scoring defense & 21st in defensive FG%. Maryland hasn’t been great ATS at home this season and as I think Maryland is going to struggle on the offensive end in this one, I’m taking Virginia Tech to snap their losing streak and get this victory. Good Luck!
