The Washington Huskies and the Arizona Wildcats meet Thursday in college basketball action from McKale Center. Washington is 2-2 in their last four games and fresh off a loss to Winthrop. As for Arizona, they’re a nice 6-0 on the year and took out Sacramento State in their last appearance. Check back all season long for free college basketball picks at Sports Chat Place.

Washington posted a 2-2 run in their first four games, beating Northern AZ and TX Southern while otherwise losing to Northern Illinois and Wyoming. After wins over George Mason and SD State, the Huskies have since lost to Nevada and Winthrop.

In the Winthrop game, the Huskies were outscored 35-30 in the first half and 47-44 from there in an 82-74 loss. Daejon Davis topped the team with 21 points and four assists, while Terrell Brown added 18 points with six assists and three rebounds.

Over on the Wildcats’ side, they started out the season with wins over Northern Arizona, UTRGV, North Dakota State and Wichita State. After a nice win over Michigan in game five, Arizona took out Sacramento State back on Saturday.

In the Sac State game, Arizona cruised to a 47-22 halftime lead and scored 58 more points in the second for a 105-59 blowout victory. Azuolas Tubelis put up 22 points with six boards. Christian Koloko added 20 points with seven rebounds.

The Wildcats are 4-1 ATS in their last five at home and 1-5 ATS in their last six Thursday games. Arizona is 5-1 ATS in their last six overall.

Meanwhile, the Huskies are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games and 2-6 ATS in their last eight overall. Washington is 7-21 ATS in their last 28 on Thursday.

PICK: I’m probably sticking with Arizona despite the hefty line. The Wildcats followed up their big win over Michigan with a blowout effort versus Sacramento State in their last game. Arizona shot 54.3 percent from the field with 9-of-17 (52.9 percent) from 3-point range. The team collected 48 rebounds and a whopping 31 assists as well.

As for Washington, they’ve had a few good outings this year but they’re giving up a ton of points as well. The Huskies have coughed up 74 or more points in each of their last five outings, so Arizona will surely have plenty of opportunity to crank out the offense here.
