The Little Rock Trojans and the Colorado State Rams meet in college basketball action from the Moby Arena on Wednesday night.

The Little Rock Trojans come into this game looking to bounce back from a 77-63 loss at the hands of Tulsa last time out. Nikola Maric leads the Trojans with 12.8 PPG, 6.5 RPG and 3 APG while Isaiah Palermo has 11.7 PPG and 3.5 RPG. DeAntoni Gordon and Jovan Stulic each have 10+ PPG as well to finish off the scoring in double figures for Little Rock so far this season. As a team, Little Rock is averaging 75.3 PPG on 44.9% shooting from the field, 30.6% from three and 71.7% from the foul line while allowing 67.6 PPG on 43.1% shooting from the field and 34.5% from three this season.

The Colorado State Rams will try to build off of an 88-79 win over Northern Colorado last time out. David Roddy leads the Rams in scoring and rebounding with 22.4 PPG and 8.4 RPG while Isaiah Stevens has 15.3 PPG and a team-high 6.7 APG this season. John Tonje has 13.1 PPG and 4 RPG and Dischon Thomas has 10.6 PPG and 4.3 RPG as well to finish off the scoring in double figures for Colorado State so far this season. As a team, Colorado is averaging 86.9 PPG on 53.3% shooting from the field, 43.3% from three and 80.7% from the foul line while allowing 70.6 PPG on 42.9% shooting from the field and 33.5% from three this season.

Little Rock is 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games as a road underdog and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 road games against a team with a winning home record while the under is 4-0-1 in their last 5 games following a loss. Colorado State is 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games and 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 games as a home favorite while the over is 5-1 in their last 6 home games.

I get the case that could be made for Little Rock here as massive numbers like these aren’t ones we normally associate with Colorado State. However, theTrojans have been throttled in their two true road games this season and at home this season, Colorado State’s put up 96 PPG in three games against D-I opponents. I just don’t know if the Trojans have the horses to keep up with that and I think a win and cover from the Rams is on the cards in this one.
