The Siena Saints improved to 2-5 on the season after defeating the Army Black Knights, 83-67, this past Tuesday. Siena trailed by a 33-28 margin at halftime, however, the Saints offense was outstanding in the 2nd half and had no trouble pulling away for the victory after taking a 65-46 lead with 6:16 left in regulation. Siena shot 46.7% from the field & 40.9% from beyond the arc while allowing Army to shoot 40.0% from the field & 23.1% from beyond the arc. Offensively, Siena has been led by Colby Rogers (14.1 ppg, 2.1 rpg, 1.4 apg), Jackson Stormo (11.1 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 1.1 apg), Andrew Platek (10.0 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 2.0 apg), & Anthony Gaines (9.0 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 1.1 apg).

Defensively, Siena is allowing their opponents to average 74.9 ppg on 46.7% shooting from the field. The Saints have a rebound margin of -1.6 and a turnover margin of -3.7.

The Jaspers are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of less than .400 & 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a losing home record. The Saints are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games following a ATS win & 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games.

Manhattan isn’t the highest scoring of the teams, however, the Jaspers have been very strong defensively this season as they come into this game ranked 55th in scoring defense & 52nd in defensive FG%. Siena was able to pick up a much-needed win against Army, however, the Saints have struggled on both sides of the ball this season as they come into this game ranked just 319th in scoring offense & 291st in scoring defense. Manhattan has the most impressive win between the two teams with an a 16-point victory over Liberty and as I think the Jaspers defense give the Saints some trouble in this one, my play is to take Manhattan and the points. Good Luck!
