The Clemson Tigers and the Miami Hurricanes meet in ACC college basketball action from the Watsco Center on Saturday afternoon.

The Clemson Tigers come into this game on the heels of a 74-64 road loss to Rutgers in their last game. PJ Hall leads the Tigers in scoring with 13.4 PPG along with 5.3 RPG while Nick Honor Al-Amir Dawes and Hunter Tyson each have 11+ PPG with Honor logging 11.8 PPG and a team-high 4 APG while Dawes has 11.8 PPG with 4.5 RPG and Tyson has 5.5 RPG. David Collins also has 10.4 PPG and a team-high 6 RPG to make up the group of double-digit scorers for Clemson up to this point in the season. As a team, Clemson is averaging 73.4 PPG on 48.9% shooting from the field, 41.7% from three and 67.4% from the foul line while allowing 63.3 PPG on 38.5% shooting from the field and 30.1% from three this season.

The Miami Hurricanes will be out to add to their 63-58 triumph over Penn State last time out. Kameron McGusty leads the Hurricanes in scoring and rebounding with 16.9 PPG and 6.5 RPG while Isaiah Wong has 15.1 PPg and 3.8 RPG. Charlie Moore has 10.9 PPG and a team-high 2.8 APG as the third double-digit scorer for Miami, rounding out the trio for the ‘Canes up to this point in the season. As a team, Miami is averaging 72 PPG on 45.2% shooting from the field, 28.6% from three and 75.1% from the foul line while allowing 72.5 PPG on 46.5% shooting from the field and 39.8% from three this season.

Clemson is 2-8 ATS in their last 10 road games and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games as an underdog while the under is 5-1 in their last 5 road games. Miami is 1-8-1 ATS in their last 10 games as a favorite and 1-5-1 ATS in their last 7 home games while the over is 4-1 in their last 5 games overall.

I get the case that could be made both ways here and the line is expectedly tight with these two both sitting at 5-3 on the year. With that said, I’m looking towards the under here. Sure, both teams are scoring into the 70s, but these were two of the lower-scoring teams in the ACC last season and in my eyes, this is shaping up to be a first to 65 kind of game. Give me the under here.
