The Missouri Tigers and the Kansas Jayhawks meet in college basketball action from Allen Fieldhouse on Saturday afternoon.

The Missouri Tigers come into this game on the heels of a 72-44 win over Eastern Illinois in their last matchup. Kobe Brown leads the Tigers in scoring and rebounding with 14.8 PPG and 9.8 RPG along with 2.7 APG while Amari Davis has 11.8 PPG as the only other double-digit scorer for Missouri so far this season. Ronnie DeGray III has 9.1 PPG and 6.6 RPG and DaJuan Gordon has 8.5 PPG and 6 RPG while Jarron Coleman has a team-high 3.1 APG to lead Mizzou in assists. As a team, Missouri is averaging 66.6 PPG on 41.1% shooting from the field, 24.6% from three and 70.2% from the foul line while allowing 63.4 PPG on 43.1% shooting from the field and 35.5% from three this season.

The Kansas Jayhawks will look to add to a 78-52 beatdown of UTEP in their last game. Ochai Agbaji leads the Jayhawks in scoring with 22.6 PPG along with 4.1 RPG while Christian Braun has 16.6 PPG and a team-high 7.1 RPG. Remy Martin’s chipping in 10.5 PPG with 4.6 RPG and a team-high 2.9 APG to make up the trio of double-digit scorers for Kansas up to this pointin the year. David McCormack has 9 PPG with 5.9 RPG while Dajuan Harris Jr. leads the Jayhawks with 4.1 APG as well this season. As a team, Kansas is averaging 84.5 PPG on 51.8% shooting from the field, 35.2% from three and 68% from the foul line while allowing 67.3 PPG on 42.6% shooting from the field and 31% from three this season.

Missouri is 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games overall and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 road games while the over is 4-0 in their last 4 Saturday games. Kansas is 3-7 ATS in their last 10 Saturday games and 5-15 ATS in their last 20 games following a win by 20 or more points while the over is 7-2-1 in their last 10 games overall.

I get that this is a lot of points to be giving up with Kansas, but realistically, the Jayhawks are the far better team here and Missouri just doesn’t have the chops offensively to keep pace here. The Tigers are one of the worst shooting teams in the country and I don’t think they can hang with Kansas. I think the Jayhawks win this one in a rout.
