The Austin Peay Governors and the USF Bulls meet in college hoops action from the Yuengling Center on Tuesday night.

The Austin Peay Governors come into this one looking to rebound from a 91-84 loss to North Florida in their last game. Tariq Silver leads the Governors in scoring with 14.6 PPG while Elijah Hutchins-Everett has 13.9 PPG with a team-high 7.6 RPG on the year. Caleb Stone-Carrawell has 13.1 PPG and Cam Copeland has 11.9 PPG to make up the group of double-digit scorers for Austin Peay so far this season. As a team, Austin Peay is averaging 73.8 PPG on 46.5% shooting from the field, 37.6% from three and 71.6% from the foul line while allowing 72.4 PPG on 48% shooting from the field and 22.4% from three this season.

The USF Bulls will try to shake off a 65-64 loss to South Carolina State in their last game. Caleb Murphy leads the Bulls in scoring and assists with 12.7 PPG and 3.4 APG as the lone double-digit scorer for the Bulls this season while Javon Greene has 8.7 PPG and 4.4 RPG and Russel Tchewa has 6.7 PPG and a team-high 6 RPG to lead the Bulls on the glass this season. As a team, USF is averaging 56.4 PPG on 37% shooting from the field, 25.4% from three and 64.6% from the foul line while allowing 57.1 PPG on 37.7% shooting from the field and 30% from three this season

Austin Peay is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games against a team with a losing record and 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games after allowing more than 90 points in the previous game while the under is 6-2 in their last 8 games overall. USF is 1-7 ATS in their last 8 home games against a team with a losing road record and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall while the under is 30-11-1 in their last 42 home games.

I get why you’d want to back or fade either side here, that’s why I’m looking at the under. South Florida has been in a ton of low-scoring games this season and more recently it’s come back to bite them, but I’m not 100% sure Austin Peay can be consistent enough on the offensive end to take advantage of that. This could be another first to 60 game or maybe 65 if they’re lucky, but either way this one’s staying under the number.
