The CSU-Bakersfield Roadrunners and the Colorado Buffaloes meet in college basketball action from Coors Events Center on Saturday afternoon.

The CSU-Bakersfield Roadrunners will look to rebound from a 69-59 road loss to Abilene Christian last time out. Justin McCall leads the Roadrunners in socring and rebounding with 10 PPG and 4.7 RPG while Kaleb Higgins has 9.9 PPG and Justin Edler-Davis has 9.7 PPG with 4.7 RPG of his own. Shaun Williams also has 8.8 PPG and a team-high 2.7 APG as well on the year to lead the Roadrunners in assists. As a team, CSU-Bakersfield is averaging 67.1 PPG on 43.5% shooting from the field, 32.3% from three and 62.2% from the foul line while allowing 64.1 PPG on 39.9% shooting from the field and 34.1% from three this season.

The Colorado Buffaloes will look to build on a 65-54 win over Milwaukee last time out. Jabari Walker leads the Buffs in scoring and rebounding with 14.5 PPG and 8.8 RPG while Evan Battey has 13.1 PPG along with 4.7 RPG. Keeshawn Barthelemy has 11 PPG and a team-high 2.8 APG to lead the Buffaloes in assists and round out the trio of double-digit scorers for Colorado up to this point in the season. As a team, Colorado is averaging 72 PPG on 45.1% shooting from the field, 29.9% from three and 72.2% from the foul line while allowing 66.9 PPG on 42.1% shooting from the field and 33% from three this season.

CSU-Bakersfield is 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games overall and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 road games while the under is 7-1 in their last 8 games against a team with a winning percentage above .600. Colorado is 0-6-1 ATS in their last 7 home games and 0-4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following an ATS loss while the under is 4-0 in their last 4 games overall.

This feels almost too easy, but maybe sometimes things can be easy and it’s just an oversight from the books. CSU-Bakersfield has had issues offensively more often than not, and while Colorado’s had their own ups and downs, they’re the much more consistent team offensively and should be able to bully the roadrunners inside and win this one by 20+.
