The Wright State Raiders will travel to PNC Arena to take on the NC State Wolfpack this Tuesday night in College Basketball action.

The Wright State Raiders snapped their 2-game losing streak and improved to 3-7 on the season after defeating the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles, 72-63, this past Saturday. Wright State trailed by a 33-32 margin at halftime, however, the Raiders were solid defensively down the stretch and was able to pull away after taking a 23-2 run gave Wright State a 68-53 lead with 3:31 left in regulation. Wright State shot 48.0% from the field & 35.0% from beyond the arc while holding Tennessee Tech to just 40.3% shooting form the field & 33.3% from beyond the arc. Leading the way for the Raiders was Tanner Holden who had 22 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, & 2 steals.

On the season, Wright State is averaging 72.2 ppg on 43.4% shooting from the field. The Raiders are averaging 5.5 three-pointers per game on 27.2% shooting from beyond the arc. Offensively, Wright State has been led by Tanner Holden (19.2 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 2.8 apg, 1.7 spg), Grant Basile (17.5 ppg, 9.2 rpg, 1.7 apg, 1.5 bpg), Trey Calvin (12.7 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 2.3 apg, 1.3 spg), & Tim Finke (8.0 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 2.0 apg).

Defensively, Wright State is allowing their opponents to average 76.9 ppg on 45.7% shooting from the field. The Raiders have a rebound margin of -4.1 and a turnover margin of -0.1.

The NC State Wolfpack lost their 2nd straight game and dropped to 7-4 on the season after being defeated by the Richmond Spiders, 83-74, this past Friday. NC State had no answers on the defensive end for Richmond and could not fight back after the Spiders took a 74-70 lead with 2:39 left in regulation. NC State shot 37.7% from the field & 31.8% from beyond the arc while allowing Richmond to shoot 52.5% from the field & 36.8% from beyond the arc. Leading the way for the Wolfpack was Dereon Seabron who had a double-double with 21 points, 13 rebounds, & 3 assists.

On the season, NC State is averaging 77.3 ppg on 41.6% shooting from the field. The Wolfpack are averaging 7.1 three-pointers per game on 30.5% shooting from beyond the arc. Offensively, NC State has been led by Dereon Seabron (19.8 ppg, 10.6 rpg, 2.9 apg, 1.9 spg), Jericole Hellems (14.5 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 1.7 apg, 1.5 spg), Terquavion Smith (12.5 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 1.8 apg), & Cam Hayes (12.0 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 2.5 apg).

Defensively, NC State is allowing their opponents to average 73.4 ppg on 42.9% shooting from the field. The Wolfpack have a rebound margin of -0.5 and a turnover margin of 3.4.

The Raiders are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 Tuesday games and just 1-7 ATS in their last 8 road games. The Wolfpack are 3-9-1 ATS in their last 13 games following a straight up loss & 0-7 ATS in their last 7 home games vs. a team with a losing road record.

Wright State got a much-needed win against Tennessee State, however, the Raiders have really struggled so far this season due to a defense that ranks just 319th in scoring defense & 311th in defensive FG%. NC State has lost 3 of their last 4 games, however, the Wolfpack should how competitive they can be in their OT loss against Purdue. NC State is led by their offense that ranked t-78th in scoring offense and as I think the Wolfpack have no issue putting up plenty of points at home against the Wright State defense, I’m taking NC State to cover this large spread. Good Luck!
