The Miami-OH RedHawks and the Buffalo Bulls meet Wednesday in college basketball action from UB Alumni Arena. Miami-OH is 6-4 so far this year and coming off a win over Spalding. As for the Bulls, they’re currently 5-5 on the season. Buffalo lost to Canisius in their last game. Check back all season long for free college basketball picks at Sports Chat Place.

Miami-OH started off their year on a five-game winning streak culminating with a victory over Defiance. After losses to Western Illinois, Cincinnati, Indiana State, Clemson and Bellarmine, the RedHawks were able to beat Spalding.

In the win over Spalding on December 21, the RedHawks posted 46 points in the first half and 34 more from there in an 80-56 blowout win. Top scorers Precious Ayah and Isaiah Coleman-Lands each notched 14 points in the victory.

Over on the Buffalo side, they went 4-2 over their first six games this year with losses to Michigan and Stephen F. Austin. The Bulls have since gone 2-2, losing to St. Bonaventure and Canisius during that stretch.

In the Canisius game, the Bulls were down 37-25 at the break. Buffalo scored 39 points from there but couldn’t complete the comeback in a tough 65-64 defeat. Jeenathan Williams led the team on a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds.

The Bulls are 4-0-1 ATS in their last five Wednesday games and 9-3-1 ATS in their last 13 overall. The over is 55-24-1 in Buffalo’s last 80 Wednesday games.

Meanwhile, the RedHawks are 15-35-1 ATS in their last 51 Wednesday games and 1-4 ATS in their last five road games. Miami-OH is 1-4 ATS in the last four overall.

PICK: I’m going to take a stab on Buffalo. The Bulls had a bad first half in their last game versus Canisius, but nearly put together a nice comeback win. Buffalo has generally scored pretty well in comparable matchups this season, and it’s common to see them finish above 70 points.

As for the RedHawks, they hit a much-needed win in their last outing. Miami-OH was close in a couple of games during their recent losing streak, and I like them to push Buffalo for most of the game here. Should be a good matchup.
