The Missouri Tigers and the Kentucky Wildcats meet in college basketball action from Rupp Arena on Wednesday night.

The Missouri Tigers will be out to bounce back from an 88-63 beatdown at the hands of Illinois in their last game. Kobe Brown leads the Tigers in scoring and rebounding with 14.8 PPG and 8.9 RPG while Amari Davis has 10.4 PPG as the only other double-digit scorer for the Tigers up to this point in the year. Javon Pickett has 9 PPG and Jarron Coleman has 8.4 PPG with a team-high 2.6 APG as well to lead the Tigers in assists so far this season. As a team, Missouri is averaging 67.5 PPG on 41.1% shooting from the field, 24.7% from three and 71.4% from the foul line while allowing 69.7 PPG on 45.4% shooting from the field and 38.8% from three this season.

The Kentucky Wildcats will look to add to their 95-60 win over Western Kentucky in their last game. Oscar Tshiebwe leads the Wildcats in scoring and rebounding with 16.1 PPG and 15.5 RPG, averaging a monster double-double per game while TyTy Washington Jr. has 13.9 PPG with 4.2 RPG and 3.6 APG. Kellan Grady has 11.2 PPG and Sahvir Wheeler has 11 PPG with a team-high 7.7 APG to lead Kentucky in assists this season. Keion Brooks Jr. has 10.9 PPG to make up the group of double-digit scorers for Kentucky so far this season. As a team, Kentucky is averaging 83.3 PPG on 49.5% shooting from the field, 33.2% from three and 73.7% from the foul line while allowing 62 PPG on 39.1% shooting from the field and 27.2% from three this season.

Missouri is 0-5 ATS in their last 5 road games and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games against a team with a winning percentage above .600 while the over is 3-0-1 in their last 4 Wednesday games. Kentucky is 8-17-1 ATS in their last 26 games overall and 2-5-1 ATS in their last 8 Wednesday games.

This is an interesting matchup as these are two rivals, but I’m not so sure it’s going to play out like that. Missouri has really struggled to stay in games as of late while Kentucky has been blowing the doors off of teams left and right. I’ll side with Kentucky in this one.
