The Cornell Big Red lost their 2nd straight game and dropped to 8-3 on the season after being defeated by the Syracuse Orange, 80-68, this past Wednesday. Cornell struggled offensively against Syracuse and could not fight back after an 11-0 Orange run gave Syracuse a 62-43 lead with 10:20 left in regulation. The Big Green are just 6-13 ATS in their last 19 games vs. Cornell, however, are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 games overall. The Big Red are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games vs. a team with a losing straight up record and 9-1 ATS in their last 10 games overall.

Dartmouth comes into this game ranked just 253rd in scoring offense & 224th in scoring defense, however, the Big Green have been solid in terms of hitting the three-pointer as they come into this matchup ranked 24th in three-pointers made per game & 76th in 3P-FG%. Cornell has been led by their offense which ranks 5th in scoring offense & 30th in FG%, however, the Big Red have had trouble keeping opponents off the scoreboard as they come into this game ranked 302nd in scoring defense.

Dartmouth hasn’t picked up a win since November, however, the Big Green have been very competitive during their losing streak which includes OT losses at FGCU & Stanford and a just a 6-point loss at California. Cornell is a team that can score the basketball, however, they can struggle defensively, and as I think the Big Green will be able to keep this one competitive behind their three-point shooting, I think the play here is to take Dartmouth and the points. Good Luck!
