The Buffalo Bulls and the Western Michigan Broncos meet Tuesday in college basketball action from University Arena. Buffalo is 7-6 so far this year and coming off a win over Bowling Green. As for Western Michigan, they’re currently at 4-10 so far. The Broncos lost to Eastern Michigan in their last game. Check back all season long for free college basketball picks at Sports Chat Place.

Buffalo posted a 6-3 run over their first nine games, losing to Michigan, Stephen F. Austin and St. Bonaventure. The Bulls then lost to Canisius, Miami-OH and Akron before picking up another win over Bowling Green.

In the January 5 game versus Bowling Green, the Bulls notched 43 points in the first half and 56 more from there in a 99-88 win. Jeenathan Williams finished with 21 points, and David Skogman doubled up on 20 points and 15 boards.

Over on the Broncos’ side, they went 4-6 in their first 10 games with wins over Hope, Fort Wayne, Southeastern LA and Aquinas. Since then it’s been losses to Notre Dame, Toledo, Ohio and Eastern Michigan in succession.

Matched up against Eastern Michigan on January 4, the Broncos were down 47-30 at the break and couldn’t come back in an 85-79 loss. Lamar Norman led Western Michigan on 34 points, four assists and two rebounds.

The Broncos are 1-5 ATS in their last six overall and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 at home. The over is 5-1 in Western Michigan’s last six Tuesday games.

Meanwhile, the Bulls are 18-7-1 ATS in their last 26 road games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven Tuesday games. The over is 5-2 in Buffalo’s last seven Tuesday games.

PICK: I’m going to try Buffalo in this one. It’s admittedly a pretty thick line, though. The Bulls are just 1-3 in their last four games, but the good news is that they’re still scoring pretty well. Buffalo has hit 76 or more points in five of their last six games and should keep the offense up here also. As for Western Michigan, they’ve been at 67 points or fewer in each of their last seven games. If Buffalo gets going early I don’t think the Broncos will be able to keep the pace.
