The Miami Hurricanes and the Florida State Seminoles meet in college basketball action from the Donald L. Tucker Center on Tuesday night.

The Miami Hurricanes come into this one on the heels of their 76-74 win over Duke. Kameron McGusty leads the Hurricanes in scoring and rebounding with 18.1 PPG and 5.8 RPG while Isaiah Wong has 16.3 PPG with 3.9 RPG and Charlie Moore has 12.4 PPG with a team-high 3.8 APG to make up the trio of double-digit scorers for Miami up to this point in the season. As a team, Miami is averaging 77.1 PPG on 47.3% shooting from the field, 34.9% from three and 74.8% from the foul line while allowing 73.8 PPG on 45.9% shooting from the field and 37.1% from three this season.

The Florida State Seminoles will try to build on a 79-70 win over Louisville in their last game. Caleb Mills leads FSU in scoring with 13.2 PPG while Malik Osborne has 11.5 PPG with a team-high 7.2 RPG to lead the Seminoles on the glass and Matthew Cleveland has 10.5 PPG with 4.3 RPG to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for FSU this year. Anthony Polite has 9.2 PPG with 5.3 RPG and a team-high 2.9 APG to lead the Seminoles in the assists department this season. As a team, Florida State is averaging 73.6 PPG on 44.3% shooting from the field, 33.5% from three and 69.5% from the foul line while allowing 68.2 PPG on 41.9% shooting from the field and 33.1% from three this season.

Miami is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games against a team with a winning percentage above .600 and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 Tuesday games while the over is 5-1 in their last 6 games overall. Florida State is 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games against a team with a winning record and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a win while the over is 4-1 in their last 5 games following a win.

I get the allure of the Seminoles at home, as FSU has made the Donald Tucker Center a fortress in recent years and the ‘Noles are always well coached under Leonard Hamilton. However, Miami’s offense has been dynamite this season, and while the Duke game may have taken a fair bit out of Miami, I still think they’ll be able to feed off of the momentum and keep this one close if not win it outright. Give me Miami and the points.
