The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and the Boston College Eagles meet in college basketball action from the Silvio Conte Forum on Wednesday night.

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets could use a win here after losing 3 straight and 7 of 8 following a 72-68 OT loss to Notre Dame last time out. Michael Devoe leads the Yellow Jackets in scoring and assists with 21.1 PPG and 3.2 APG with 5.2 RPG while Jordan Usher has 14.9 PPG with a team-high 7.4 RPG as the only other double-digit scorer for Georgia Tech so far this season. Rodney Howard also has 6.2 PPG and 5.5 RPG as well this season. As a team, Georgia Tech is averaging 67.9 PPG on 43.4% shooting from the field, 35.3% from three and 69.5% from the foul line while allowing 68 PPG on 42.4% shooting from the field and 31.3% from three this season.

The Boston College Eagles will try to snap a four-game losing streak after a 69-67 loss to Pitt last time out. Makai Ashton-Langford leads the Eagles in scoring and assists with 12.4 PPG and 3.5 APG along with 3.7 RPG while DeMarr Langford Jr. has 11.4 PPG with 4.7 RPG. Jaeden Zackery has 10.8 PPG to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for BC so far this season while T.J. Bickerstaff has 9 PPG with a team-high 7.4 RPG to lead the Eagles on the glass up to this point in the season. As a team, Boston College is averaging 67.1 PPG on 42.5% shooting from the field, 34.9% from three and 70.6% from the foul line while allowing 64.5 PPG on 44.3% shooting from the field and 36.2% from three this season.

Georgia Tech is 2-7-1 ATS in their last 10 games overall and 1-6-1 ATS in their last 8 games as an underdog while the under is 7-1 in their last 8 games following a loss. Boston College is 3-9-1 ATS in their last 13 games against a team with a losing record and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a loss while the over is 4-1 in their last 5 games against a team with a losing record.

I get the case that could be made both ways here, but I’m going to side with the under here. This just has the feel of a first to 65 game from my time watching Georgia Tech and Boston College basketball and while both could use the win, I think both will have to grind for it so give me the under here.
