The Bulldogs are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games and just 3-6 ATS in their last 9 games vs. Georgetown. The Hoyas are 3-6 ATS in their last 9 games, however, are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games vs. Big East opponents.

Butler has been led by their defense which comes into this game ranked 46th in scoring defense & 171st in defensive FG%, however, the Bulldogs have struggled on the offensive end as they come into this game ranked just 318th in scoring offense. Georgetown has been led by their offense which ranks 96th in scoring offense & 27th in 3P-FG%, however, the defense has struggled slowing opposing teams down and come into this game ranked just 299th in scoring defense & 240th in defensive FG%.

Georgetown looked like a team that hadn’t played for almost three weeks against Marquette and I think it’s still hard to trust the Hoyas right now. Butler is not much better in terms of talent than the Hoyas, however, the Bulldogs have picked up a nice road win at Oklahoma earlier this season and as I think their offense will be able to find some success against a bad Georgetown defense, I think the play here is to take Butler and the points. Good Luck!
