The Oklahoma Sooners dropped to 12-4 on the season after being defeated by the 21st ranked Texas Longhorns, 66-52, this past Tuesday. Oklahoma could get nothing going on the offensive end against Texas and could not fight back after the Longhorns took a 47-27 lead with 14:33 left in regulation. Oklahoma shot 40.4% from the field & 7.7% from beyond the arc while allowing Texas to shoot 46.8% from the field 7 28.6% from beyond the arc. Leading the way for the Sooners was Jalen Hill who had 13 points & 5 rebounds.

The TCU Horned Frogs improved to 11-2 on the season after defeating the Kansas State Wildcats, 60-57, this past Wednesday. TCU trailed by a 57-52 margin with just 1:50 left in regulation, however, the Horned Frogs was solid defensively down the stretch and was able to get the victory after closing the game on an 8-0 run. TCU shot 39.6% from the field & 30.0% from beyond the arc while allowing Kansas State to shoot 39.2% from the field & 30.0% from beyond the arc. Offensively, TCU has been led by Mike Miles (17.8 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 4.8 apg, 1.3 spg), Emanuel Miller (10.5 ppg, 7.1 rpg, 1.0 apg, 1.2 spg), Chuck O’Bannon Jr. (9.7 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 1.5 apg, 1.1 spg), & Damion Baugh (9.2 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 4.0 apg, 1.3 spg).

Oklahoma has been led by their defense which comes into this game ranked 35th in scoring defense, 99th in steals per game, & 107th in defensive FG% and although their offense ranks just 152nd in scoring offense, the Sooners have shot the ball well this season and currently rank 4th in FG% & 111th in 3P-FG%. TCU has also been led by their defense which ranks t-38th in scoring defense, 93rd in defensive FG%, & 4th in rebound, however, TCU has struggled a bit on the offensive end and currently rank just 177th in scoring offense, 240th in FG%, & 274th in 3P-FG%.

Oklahoma has picked up solid wins this season, however, the Sooners have struggled a bit on the road as of late, losing to both Baylor & Texas by double-digits. TCU is 6-1 at home this season and as I think their defense is going to give Oklahoma some trouble in this one, I think TCU does enough on their home court to get the victory. Take TCU and the point! Good Luck!
