The Boston College Eagles and the Clemson tigers meet in college basketball action from the Littlejohn Coliseum on Saturday.

The Boston College Eagles will try to snap their five-game losing streak after an 81-76 loss to Georgia Tech last time out. Makai Ashton-Langford leads the Eagles in scoring and assists with 11.8 PPG and 3.5 APG along with 3.6 RPG while DeMarr Langford Jr. has 11.2 PPG with 4.9 RPG. Jaeden Zackery has 10.7 PPG to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for BC so far this season while T.J. Bickerstaff has 8.5 PPG with a team-high 7.1 RPG to lead the Eagles on the glass up to this point in the season. As a team, Boston College is averaging 67.7 PPG on 42.8% shooting from the field, 34.3% from three and 70.1% from the foul line while allowing 65.6 PPG on 44.8% shooting from the field and 36.9% from three this season.

The Clemson Tigers will try to bounce back from a 72-56 loss to Notre Dame last time out. PJ Hall leads the Tigers in scoring with 14.6 PPG along with 6.1 RPG while Al-Amir Dawes has 11.1 PPG and David Collins has 10.9 PPG with a team-high 7.1 RPG to lead Clemson on the glass. Nick Honor has 9 PPG with a team-high 3 APG to lead Clemson in assists while Hunter Tyson has 11.6 PPG with 6.1 RPG to make up the group of double-digit scorers for Clemson so far this season. As a team, Clemson is averaging 73.1 PPG on 46.5% shooting from the field, 38.8% from three and 71.9% from the foul line while allowing 66.3 PPG on 40.3% shooting from the field and 32.2% from three this season.

Boston College is 1-5-1 ATS in their last 7 road games and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following a loss while the over is 4-0 in their last 4 games against a team with a winning record. Clemson is 7-1 ATS in their last 8 home games and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 home games against a team with a losing road record while the under is 5-1 in their last 6 games against a team with a losing record.

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed with Clemson’s performance against Notre Dame, but the bottom line is that the Tigers have by far played their best ball at home this season and while Boston College has had their moments, they haven’t looked all that great during their five-game losing streak. I’ll look for Clemson to win this one by 11-13 points, so I’ll lay it and play it with Clemson here.
