The Kansas Jayhawks and the Oklahoma Sooners meet in college basketball action from the Lloyd Noble Center on Tuesday night.

The Kansas Jayhawks will look to build on their 85-59 win over West Virginia last time out. Ochai Agbaji leads the Jayhawks in scoring with 20.6 PPG along with 4.8 RPG while Christian Braun has 15.6 PPG with 6.2 RPG to lead the Jayhawks on the glass and to make up the other half of the pair of double-digit scorers for Kansas so far this season. Remy Martin has 9.8 PPG with 3.1 APG while David McCormack has 8.8 PPG with a team-high 6.5 RPG to lead the Jayhawks on the glass. Jalen Wilson has 6.2 RPG and Dajuan Harris Jr. has a team-high 3.9 APG to lead Kansas in assists. As a team, Kansas is averaging 81.9 PPG on 50.2% shooting from the field, 37% from three and 70.5% from the foul line while allowing 66.3 PPG on 41.9% shooting from the field and 31.2% from three this season.

The Oklahoma Sooners will try to bounce back from a 59-58 OT loss to TCU last time out. Tanner Groves leads the Sooners in scoring with 13.1 PPG along with 6 RPG while Umoja Gibson has 12.5 PPG and Elijah Harkless has 10.2 PPG with 4.9 RPG to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for Oklahoma so far this season. Jalen Hill has 9.8 PPG with a team-high 6.2 RPG to lead the Sooners on the glass this season. Jordan Goldwire has 9.8 PPG and a team-high 3.6 APG to lead Oklahoma in assists as well this season. As a team, Oklahoma is averaging 72.4 PPG on 49.9% shooting from the field, 34.5% from three and 74.8% from the foul line while allowing 62.1 PPG on 41.4% shooting from the field and 30.1% from three this season.

Kansas is 5-2-1 ATS in their last 8 road games and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games against a team with a winning percentage above .600 while the over is 12-5-1 in their last 18 games overall. Oklahoma is 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games following a loss and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 Tuesday games while the over is 5-2 in their last 7 home games.

I get the allure of points with Oklahoma here, but the problem is that the Jayhawks are the better team and while Oklahoma’s struggles have been on the road and the Sooners play well at home, I’m simply not getting enough points to take a shot with the Sooners who are far too liberal with the ball and turn it over way too often to keep this within reason. I think the Jayhawks win by 7-8 points at the very least, so give me Kansas laying the points here.
