The 25^th ranked UConn Huskies will travel to Hinkle Fieldhouse to take on the Butler Bulldogs this Thursday night in College Basketball actin.

UConn was outstanding defensively against Butler and had no trouble cruising for victory in the 2^nd half after going into halftime with a 39-24 lead. UConn shot 42.2% from the field & 31.8% from beyond the arc while Butler shot just 30.5% from the field & 31.3% from beyond the arc. UConn was led by Adama Sanogo who had a double-double with 13 points, 15 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 blocks, & 1 steal while Butler was led by Jayden Taylor who had 19 points & 2 rebounds.

On the season, UConn is averaging 80.0 ppg on 44.2% shooting from the field. The Huskies are averaging 8.1 three-pointers per game on 35.9% shooting from beyond the arc. Offensively, UConn has been led by R.J. Cole (16.4 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 4.8 apg, 1.5 spg), Adama Sanogo (15.7 ppg, 8.4 rpg, 2.3 bpg), Tyrese Martin (13.1 ppg, 6.7 rpg, 1.8 apg), & Andrew Jackson (7.9 ppg, 7.8 rpg, 2.6 apg, 1.3 spg).

UConn is just 1-2 on the road this season, however, this team is just better on both ends of the court than Butler and as I just don’t see the Bulldogs being able to put up many points in this one, I think UConn once again, has no issue defeating Butler by double-digits and cover this road spread.
