The Purdue Boilermakers and the Indiana Hoosiers meet in college basketball action from the Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on Thursday night.

The Purdue Boilermakers will be looking to build on their 96-88 double OT win over Illinois in their last game. Jaden Ivey leads the Boilermakers in scoring with 16.4 PPG along with 5.2 RPG and 3.1 APG while Zach Edey has 15.6 PPG with 7.5 RPG. Trevion Williams has 13.4 PPG with a team-high 8.5 RPG and 3.1 APG and Sasha Stefanovic has 11.8 PPG with a team-high 3.8 APG to lead the Boilermakers in assists while rounding out the group of double-digit scorers for Purdue so far this season. As a team, Purdue is averaging 86.2 PPG on 50.2% shooting from the field, 40.3% from three and 73.3% from the foul line while allowing 67.8 PPG on 41.3% shooting from the field and 33% from three this season.

The Indiana Hoosiers will be looking to add to their 78-71 road win over Nebraska last time out. Trayce Jackson-Davis leads the Hoosiers in scoring and rebounding with 19.5 PPG and 9.1 RPG while Race Thompson has 10.9 PPG with 7.5 RPG to cap off the pair of double-digit scorers for Indiana so far this season. Xavier Johnson has 9.5 PPG with 3.5 RPG and a team-high 4.2 APG to lead Indiana in assists as well this season. As a team, Indiana is averaging 75.1 PPG on 48.3% shooting from the field, 34.6% from three and 68.4% from the foul line while allowing 62.7 PPG on 36.5% shooting from the field and 29.4% from three this season.

Purdue is 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games against a team with a winning record while the over is 5-0 in their last 5 games overall. Indiana is 8-0 ATS in their last 8 home games and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games against a team with a winning record while the under is 8-2 in their last 10 games following an ATS loss.

This is a bit of an interesting game, as Purdue is the better team here but Indiana’s been rock solid at home and haven’t been beating cupcakes in their own gym with back-to-back home wins over Minnesota and Ohio State. With that said, I think this is a game where both teams end up in the 70s at the very least, and I think we have a bit of a track meet on our hands as the total finishes in the low-150s at the bare minimum. Give me the over here.
