Hawaii shot 46.2% from the field & 29.4% from beyond the arc while allowing CSU Bakersfield to shoot 42.0% from the field & 33.3% from beyond the arc. On the season, Hawaii is averaging 73.8 ppg on 46.3% shooting from the field. The Rainbow Warriors are averaging 9.3 three-pointers per game on 37.5% shooting from beyond the arc. Offensively, Hawaii has been led by Noel Coleman (16.4 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 2.0 apg), Jerome Desrosiers (12.2 ppg, 8.2 rpg, 1.8 apg), Bernardo da Silva (12.1 ppg, 8.1 rpg, 1.3 apg), & Junior Madut (11.4 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 2.3 apg).

Defensviely, Hawaii is allowing their opponents to average 66.5 ppg on 42.2% shooting from the field. The Rainbow Warriors have a rebound margin of 5.3 and a turnover margin of -2.5.

The Cal Poly Mustangs dropped to 4-11 on the season after being defeated by the CSU Bakersfield Roadrunners, 73-60, this past Tuesday. Cal Poly struggled with turnovers against CSU Bakersfield and could not fight back after the Roadrunners took a 58-49 lead with 5:29 left in regulation. Cal Poly shot 56.3% from the field & 53.8% from beyond the arc while allowing CSU Bakersfield to shoot 43.4% from the field & 31.3% from beyond the arc. The Rainbow Warriors are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games & 8-4 ATS in their last 12 games vs. Cal Poly. The Mustangs are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games & 2-9 ATS in their last 11 January games.

Hawaii has been solid on both ends of the court this season as the Rainbow Warriors come into this game ranked 134th in scoring offense, 84th in FG%, & 116th in scoring defense. Cal Poly has been led by their defense which ranks 123rd in scoring defense & 90th in defensive FG%, however, the Mustangs haven’t had much success offensively and come into this matchup ranked just 332nd in scoring offense, 307th in FG%, & 308th in 3P-FG%.

Hawaii has been on a roll since the start of the new year and with everyone back healthy, the Rainbow Warriors certainly look like one of the teams to beat in the Big West this season, especially after defeating UC Irvine by a 72-56 margin last week. Hawaii isn’t nearly as strong on the road, however, Cal Poly is just 1-2 at home this season and as I just don’t see the Mustangs offense being able to keep up with Hawaii in this one, I think the Rainbow Warriors do enough to cover this road spread. Good Luck!
