The Tulane Green Wave and the UCF Knights meet in college basketball action from Addition Financial Arena on Saturday afternoon.

The Tulane Green Wave will look to bounce back from a 75-66 loss at home to SMU last time out. Jalen Cook leads Tulane in scoring and assists with 19.6 PPG along with 3.4 APG while Jaylen Forbes has 15 PPG with 4.9 RPG and Kevin Cross has 13.7 PPG with a team-high 6.1 RPG and 3.4 APG to lead the Green Wave in rebounding and to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for Tulane so far this season. As a team, Tulane is averaging 72.3 PPG on 43.9% shooting from the field, 36.3% from three and 72.3% from the foul line while allowing 72.1 PPG on 42.4% shooting from the field and 33.4% from three this season.

The UCF Knights will try to build on their 92-85 OT win over East Carolina last time out. Darin Green Jr. leads the Knights in scoring with 13.5 PPG while Darius Perry has 11.8 PPG with 3.5 RPG and a team-high 4.8 APG to lead the Knights in assists. Brandon Mahan also has 10.3 PPG to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for UCF. C.J. Walker has 8.7 PPG with a team-high 6 RPG to lead UCF on the boards and Cheikh Mbacke Diong also has 5.8 RPG this season. As a team, UCF is averaging 72.5 PPG on 44.9% shooting from the field, 35.5% from three and 75.2% from the foul line while allowing 66.8 PPG on 42.3% shooting from the field and 30.1% from three this season.

Tulane is 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games following a loss and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following an ATS loss while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 games overall. UCF is 0-7 ATS in their last 7 games following an ATS win and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 home games against a team with a road winning percentage below .400 while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 games overall.

I get why you’d make the case for UCF at home, but the issue is that the Knights have had some issues when it comes to laying bigger numbers lately, and by bigger numbers I mean numbers over a single possession. Tulane hit a bump against SMU, but this Green Wave team has been solid early on in conference play and I think getting a few buckets here may be asking a lot of UCF in this one. Give me the Green Wave and the points here.
