The Nevada Wolf Pack will travel to Moby Arena to take on the Colorado State Rams this Tuesday night in College Basketball action.

The Nevada Wolf Pack improved to 9-7 on the season after defeating the Fresno State Bulldogs, 77-73, this past Friday. Nevada was outstanding offensively against the tough Fresno State defense and was able to hold off the Bulldogs for the victory after taking a 65-54 lead with 5:59 left in regulation. Nevada shot 56.0% from the field & 38.9% from beyond the arc while allowing Fresno State to shoot 43.6% from the field & 40.0% from beyond the arc. Leading the way for the Wolf Pack was Grant Sherfield who had 17 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists, & 1 steal.

On the season, Nevada is averaging 76.3 ppg on 44.7% shooting from the field. The Wolf Pack are averaging 7.4 three-pointers per game on 32.6% shooting from beyond the arc. Offensively, Nevada has been led by Grant Sherfield (19.4 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 6.5 rpg), Desmond Cambridge Jr. (15.3 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 2.0 apg, 1.6 spg, 1.1 bpg), Will Baker (11.6 ppg, 5.3 rpg), & Warren Washington (10.8 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 1.3 bpg).

Defensively, Nevada is allowing their opponents to average 75.2 ppg on 43.4% shooting from the field. The Wolf Pack have a rebound margin of 1.7 and a turnover margin of -0.2.

The Colorado State Rams won their 4th straight game and improved to 15-1 on the season after defeating the Air Force Falcons, 73-53, this past Saturday. Colorado State had no trouble generating offense against Air Force and easily cruised to victory in the 2nd half after going into halftime with a 31-17 lead. Colorado State shot 57.4% from the field & 35.3% from beyond the arc while holding Air Force to just 33.3% shooting from the field & 34.6% form beyond the arc. Leading the way for the Rams was David Roddy who had 14 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 block, & 3 steals.

On the season, Colorado State is averaging 78.6 ppg on 50.2% shooting from the field. The Rams are averaging 8.4 three-pointers per game on 38.4% shooting from beyond the arc. Offensively, Colorado State has been led by David Roddy (18.7 ppg, 7.8 rpg, 2.8 apg, 1.1 spg, 1.1 bpg), Isaiah Stevens (15.1 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 5.5 apg, 1.4 spg), John Tonje (10.6 ppg, 3.1 rpg), & Dischon Thomas (7.5 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 1.0 apg).

Defensively, Colorado State is holding their opponents to an average of 65.6 ppg on 41.8% shooting from the field. The Rams have a rebound margin of 2.9 and a turnover margin of 2.0.

The Wolf Pack are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games, however, are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games vs. Colorado State. The Rams are 2-4 ATS in their last 6 games & 2-4 ATS in their last 6 Tuesday games.

Nevada has been led by their offense which ranks 76th in scoring offense & 152nd in FG%, however, the defense has struggled as the Wolf Pack come into this game ranked just t-307th in scoring defense & 214th in defensive FG%. Colorado State has been outstanding on both ends of the court as the Rams come into this game ranked 38th in scoring offense, 3rd in FG%, & 89th in scoring defense.

Nevada is just 1-3 on the road this season which includes 20+ losses at Santa Clara & Kansas and it’s hard to imagine the Wolf Pack finding much success on either end of the court in this one. Colorado State is 9-0 at home this season and as I think the Rams offense will be able to put up plenty of points in this one, I think the Colorado State pulls away in the 2nd half and covers this mid-range spread. Good Luck!
