The Cincinnati Bearcats and the Tulsa Golden Hurricane meet in college basketball action from the Reynolds Center on Saturday night.

The Cincinnati Bearcats will try to find some consistency after alternating wins and losses in each of their last 5 games after a 70-59 win over South Florida last time out. David DeJulius leads the Bearcats in scoring with 14.3 PPG while Jeremiah Davenport has 13.2 PPG with a team-high 5 RPG to lead the Bearcats on the glass and to make up the duo of double-digit scorers for Cincinnati so far this season. Mika Adams-Woods also has 8.9 PPG with a team-high 3.3 APG to lead the Bearcats in assists this season. As a team, Cincinnati is averaging 70.2 PPG on 41.4% shooting from the field, 32.1% from three and 66.8% from the foul line while allowing 63.1 PPG on 38.1% from the field and 30.3% from three this season.

The Tulsa Golden Hurricane will look to snap a three-game losing skid after a 73-71 loss to East Carolina last time out. Jeriah Horne leads the Golden Hurricane in scoring and rebounding with 15.9 PPG and 6.9 RPG while Sam Griffin has 15.7 PPG as the only other double-digit scorer for Tulsa up to this point in the season. Darien Jackson has 8.5 PPG and Anthony Pritchard’s chipping in a team-high 2.9 APG as well this season. As a team, Tulsa is averaging 67.6 PPG on 43.5% shooting from the field, 33.8% from three and 73.4% from the foul line while allowing 69.3 PPG on 44.9% shooting from the field and 36.7% from three this season.

Cincinnati is 2-6-1 ATS in their last 9 road games and 13-38-3 ATS in their last 54 games following a win while the over is 7-2 in their last 9 road games against a team with a losing home record. Tulsa is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall and 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games following an ATS loss while the under is 12-3 in their last 15 games as a home underdog.

I get the case to be made for a home underdog in certain spots, but the thing here is that Tulsa is not a very good basketball team this year and the line shift towards Tulsa kind of baffles me here. Cincinnati is the better team that’s starting to pick it up and I think this is just a bad line that we can take advantage of. Give me the Bearcats laying the bucket here.
