The Eastern Michigan Eagles and the Central Michigan Chippewas meet in college basketball MAC-tion from the McGuirk Arena on Tuesday night.

The Eastern Michigan Eagles will look to snap a five-game losing skid after a 74-56 loss to Ohio last time out. Noah Farrakhan leads the Eagles in scoring with 15.3 PPG along with 3.8 RPG and 2.3 APG while Monty Scott has 11.1 PPG and Bryce McBride has 11.8 PPG to make up the trio of double-digit scorers for Eastern Michigan so far this season. Colin Golson Jr. has 8.5 PPG with 4.3 RPG and Nate Scott has 8.7 PPG and a team-high 5.5 RPG to lead the Eagles on the glass this season. As a team, Eastern Michigan is averaging 70.4 PPG on 43% shooting from the field, 31.5% from three and 71.4% from the foul line while allowing 76.8 PPG on 44.7% shooting from the field and 34.8% from three this season.

The Central Michigan Chippewas will look to bounce back after a 77-63 loss to Western Michigan last time out. Jermaine Jackson Jr. has 11.4 PPG and 2.7 APG while Kevin Miller has a team-high 12.5 PPG with a team-high 4.4 APG and Cameron Healy has 11 PPG. Harrison Henderson and Oscar Lopez Jr. each have 10+ PPG with 4+ RPG to round out the group of double-digit scorers for CMU so far this season. Ralph Bissainthe also has 9.5 PPG with a team-high 6.2 RPG to lead the Chippewas on the glass as well this season. As a team, Central Michigan is averaging 65.9 PPG on 40.9% shooting from the field, 35.6% from three and 68.2% from the foul line while allowing 79.3 PPG on 46.9% shooting from the field and 35.9% from three this season.

Eastern Michigan is 0-4 ATS in their last 4 Tuesday games while the over is 6-1 in their last 7 games overall. Central Michigan is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 home games against a team with a losing road record while the over is 4-0 in their last 4 games against a team with a losing record.

I get the case to be made for both sides here, as both have been struggling through MAC play. However, in a near pick ‘em spot, I have to go with the team at home that’s actually been able to pick up wins here and there, no matter how off the line looks. Give me Central Michigan at home here.
