The Miami Hurricanes and the Boston College Eagles meet in college basketball action from the Silvio Conte Forum on Wednesday night.

The Miami Hurricanes will look to find some consistency after alternating wins and losses in each of their last four games after a 71-70 loss to Virginia Tech last time out. Kameron McGusty leads the Hurricanes in scoring with 17.7 PPG and 5 RPG while Isaiah Wong has 15.1 PPG with 4.2 RPG and Charlie Moore has 12.7 PPG with a team-high 4.2 APG to make up the trio of double-digit scorers for Miami up to this point in the season. Jordan Miller also has 9 PPG and a team-high 5.8 RPG to lead the ‘Canes on the glass this season. As a team, Miami is averaging 74.7 PPG on 47.2% shooting from the field, 35.4% from three and 74.9% from the foul line while allowing 70.8 PPG on 46.6% shooting from the field and 35% from three this season.

The Boston College Eagles will look to bounce back from a 70-60 loss to Clemson in their last game. Makai Ashton-Langford leads the Eagles in scoring and assists with 11.9 PPG and 3.4 APG along with 3.8 RPG while DeMarr Langford Jr. has 11 PPG with 4.6 RPG and Jaeden Zackery has 10.3 PPG to cap off the scoring in double figures for Boston College so far this season. T.J. Bickerstaff has 7.3 PPG with a team-high 7.8 RPG to lead the Eagles on the glass up to this point in the season. As a team, Boston College is averaging 65.9 PPG on 41.7% shooting from the field, 29.8% from three and 71.1% from the foul line while allowing 67.5 PPG on 43.8% shooting from the field and 36.4% from three this season.

Miami is 7-1 ATS in their last 8 road games and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games against a team with a losing record while the over is 4-0 in their last 4 games following a loss. Boston College is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games against a team with a winning percentage above .600 and 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games following a loss while the under is 4-0 in their last 4 games overall.

I get the case to be made either way here, but I wasn’t impressed with Miami when they fell apart against Virginia Tech and Boston College has been below average for much of the season, so I’ll side with the under here. I think this ends up as a first to 70 wins kind of game if we even get to that point, so give me the under.
