The Oklahoma Sooners and the Kansas State Wildcats meet in college basketball action from the Bramlage Coliseum on Saturday afternoon.

The Oklahoma Sooners will look to build on a 72-59 win over West Virginia last time out. Tanner Groves leads the Sooners in scoring with 12.3 PPG along with 5.6 RPG while Umoja Gibson has 11.8 PPG this season. Jordan Goldwire has 10.4 PPG with 3.4 APG to lead the Sooners in assists and Elijah Harkless has 10 PPG to cap off the scoring in double figures for OU this season. Jalen Hill also has 9 PPG and a team-high 5.9 RPG to lead Oklahoma on the glass. As a team, Oklahoma is averaging 68.5 PPG on 47.5% shooting from the field, 33.2% from three and 74.8% from the foul line while allowing 64.7 PPG on 43.8% shooting from the field and 31.3% from three this season.

The Kansas State Wildcats will try to snap a four-game losing skid after a 73-68 loss to Texas Tech last time out. Nijel Pack leads the Wildcats in scoring with 17.7 PPG while Markquis Nowell has 12.6 PPG and a team-high 5.1 APG as well this season. Mark Smith also has 12.2 PPG along with a team-high 8.5 RPG to lead the Wildcats on the glass and to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for Kansas State so far this season. As a team, Kansas State is averaging 69 PPG on 41.8% shooting from the field, 34.5% from three and 72.5% from the foul line while allowing 66.9 PPG on 42.8% shooting from the field and 29.4% from three this season.

Oklahoma is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games and 1-5-1 ATS in their last 7 Saturday games while the under is 5-0 in their last 5 games against a team with a losing record. Kansas State is 10-21-3 ATS in their last 34 home games and 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 Saturday games while the over is 6-0 in their last 6 games overall.

I get the case to be made either way here, but I’m leaning towards the Wildcats at home. Oklahoma just hasn’t been able to cut the mustard on the road as of late. Now I get a lot of those games came against much better teams, but Kansas State’s done their best work this season at home, going 9-5-2 ATS and I think they’ll want to finish the season on a high at home. Give me the Wildcats laying the points here.
