The Boston University Terriers and the Navy Midshipmen meet in college basketball action from the Alumni Hall on Sunday afternoon.

The Boston University Terriers punched their ticket to the conference semifinals with a 76-64 win over Loyola-Maryland last time out. Javante McCoy leads the Terriers in scoring and assists with 17.3 PPG and 2.9 APG while Walter Whyte has 13 PPG with 5.9 RPG and Sukhmail Mathon has 15.1 PPG with a team-high 10.3 RPG to make up the trio of double-digit scorers for Boston U up to this point in the season. The Navy Midshipmen reached the semis with a 71-64 win over American last time out. John Carter Jr. leads the Middies in scoring with 13.2 PPG along with 4.3 RPG while Greg Summers has team-highs of 4.8 RPG and 2.2 APG to lead the Midshipmen on the glass and in assists this season. Tyler Nelson has 8.6 PPG with 4.5 RPG as well this season. As a team, Navy is averaging 64.3 PPG on 43.1% shooting from the field, 32.9% from three and 64.9% from the foul line while allowing 58.8 PPG on 40.1% shooting from the field and 31.5% from three this season.

Boston University is 11-5-2 ATS in their last 18 road games and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games against a team with a winning percentage above .600 while the over is 8-1 in their last 9 games following a win. Navy is 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall and 1-7 ATS in their last 8 home games while the over is 4-0 in their last 4 games against a team with a winning record.

I get the case to be made for the Terriers in this one, but Navy won the two regular season meetings handily and I just don’t think that the Terriers will suddenly figure out the Middies’ defense in the conference tournament, with their season on the line. Give me Navy laying the points here.
