Gabe Brown leads the Spartans in scoring with 11.5 PPG with 3.9 RPG as the lone double-digit scorers for the Spartans this season while Malik Hall has 9.6 PPG with 4.7 RPG . Max Christie has 9.5 PPG and Marcus Bingham Jr. has 8.9 PPG with a team-high 5.9 RPG to lead the Spartans on the glass. A.j. Hoggard also has a team-high 4.8 APG as well for MSU so far this season. As a team, Michigan State is averaging 72.1 PPG on 45.6% shooting from the field, 38.4% from three and 74.7% from the foul line while allowing 68.3 PPG on 41.7% shooting from the field and 31.3% from three this season.

The Purdue Boilermakers will look to build on their 69-61 win over Penn State last time out. Jaden Ivey leads the Boilermakers in scoring with 17.2 PPG along with 4.7 RPG and 3 APG while Zach Edey has 14.7 PPG with 7.6 RPG. Trevion Williams has 11.6 PPG with 7.3 RPG and 3 APG and Sasha Stefanovic has 11.4 PPG with a team-high 3.4 APG to lead the Boilermakers in assists while rounding out the group of double-digit scorers for Purdue so far this season. As a team, Purdue is averaging 80.7 PPG on 49.7% shooting from the field, 39.7% from three and 70.5% from the foul line while allowing 68.8 PPG on 42.8% shooting from the field and 33.9% from three this season.

Michigan State is 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games against a team with a winning record and 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 neutral site games while the over is 8-2 in their last 10 Saturday games. Purdue is 0-6-2 ATS in their last 8 games overall and 0-4-2 ATS in their last 6 games against a team with a winning record while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 games following a win.

I get why you’d look at Purdue here, but the Boilermakers haven’t really been worrying about covering the numbers as of late as much as it is just winning games. Michigan State on the other hand, has not only been winning games, but they’ve been been covering the numbers as well and I just think that this is another spot where, like the lone meeting this season which was decided by three points, comes down to the final possessions and because of that, I’ll take Michigan State and the points here.
